Hyundai 2026 IONIQ 6N Debuts At Goodwood Festival Of Speed.

Hyundai has just revealed the all new IONIQ 6 N at the ongoing Goodwood Festival of speed. The Ioniq 6N follows the footsteps of the ultra-popular Ioniq 5N that has proven to be a great example of a fun to drive electric vehicle. The IONIQ 6N marks a pivotal moment in the brand’s advancement of EV technology and a showcase of what Hyundai calls the three pillars of the N-performance philosophy which are Corner Rascal, Racetrack Capability and Everyday Sportscar.

At the heart of the IONIQ 6N is a dual motor setup pushing out a total output of 608 horsepower as standard or 641 horsepower and 567 ft-ibs of torque with Hyundai’s boost option activated. The front motors produce 224 horsepower while the rear pushes out 381 horsepower. Combined the IONIQ 6N accelerates from 0-60mph in just 3.2 seconds and tops out at 160 mph.

Powering the IONIQ 6N motors is an 84 Kw/h battery that Hyundai has equipped with a revamped management system designed to deliver power according to track driving scenarios including drag, sprint or endurance racing.  According to Hyundai, the integration of battery conditioning functions leads to higher and long-lasting performance while a thermal management system ensures that the batteries remain at optimal temperatures for greater performance. Like its younger sibling, the IONIQ 5N boasts impressive charging speeds with the 350 KW battery capable of charging from 10 to 80 percent in just 18 minutes.

Aside the amazing power from the dual motors, the IONIQ 6N has other tricks up its sleeves to deliver the best driving experience, among these is a fully redesigned suspension geometry that lowers the roll center of the IONIQ 6N to deliver greater high-speed stability and improved cornering grip. A new stroke sensing electronic controlled suspension damper allows for a wide range of damping force adjustments that suits both street use and track abuse.

While official pricing for the IONIQ 6 N has yet to be announced, expectations suggest it will start north of $65,000. This projection is based on the current $67,000 starting price of the 2025 IONIQ 5 N. If these estimates hold true, the IONIQ 6 N could offer one of the most compelling price-to-performance ratios on the market.
