The 2026 Jeep Wrangler arrives with upgrades that strengthen its legacy as the world’s most recognizable off-road SUV. Jeep has doubled down on capability, customization, and pure adventure—introducing a new high-performance model, fresh exterior colors, and smarter engineering designed to make the Wrangler experience even more authentic.

According to Jeep, this year’s updates make the Wrangler more powerful, more practical, and more customizable than ever before.

The Big Headline: The New Moab 392

Jeep expands its high-performance lineup with the new Wrangler Moab 392, exclusively offered as a four-door model. It’s a beast by every definition, powered by a 6.4-liter V8 engine generating a massive 470 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. The Moab is the ideal Jeep for those with a heavy right foot looking to stay on the paved road. While it is no Hellcat, the Moab has all the ingredients to put a smile on your face all day.

The Moab brings hardcore off-road gear straight from factory, including:

  • 17-inch beadlock-capable wheels
  • 35-inch all-terrain tires
  • 4.56 axle ratio
  • 2.72:1 Selec-Trac full-time transfer case
  • Two-mode dual exhaust
  • Cold-air intake hood with water separator

Upgrades Inside Out The New Jeep Wrangler

Jeep has upgraded the Wrangler’s iconic open-air flexibility with an enhanced door-hinge system, making door removal “quicker and easier than ever”. This will be a welcome upgrade for purists who prefer the wind-in-your-face experience, especially on coastal drives or rugged trails.

2026 brings several colour options for the new Wrangler. The lineup now includes Reign, along with late-availability shades like Goldilocks, Joose, Earl Grey, and Tuscadero. These new options ensure every Wrangler owner can stand out, from subtle and mundane earth tones to loud pinks and purples.

General Engine Options

Although the Moab has become the talk of the 2026 Jeep Wrangler due in part to that thunderous 6.4 liter, Jeep has made other engine options available to the more conservative consumer.

  • 2.0L turbo I-4: 270 hp, 295 lb-ft
  • 3.6L V6: 285 hp, 260 lb-ft (manual or automatic)
  • 6.4L V8: 470 hp, 470 lb-ft in Moab 392

The 2026 Jeep Wrangler doesn’t reinvent its iconic formula but it sharpens it. With the introduction of the Moab 392, easier door removal, bold new color options, and expanded off-road hardware, Jeep continues to evolve the Wrangler without losing its heritage.
